There are already numerous buildings around the world using biometric systems to identify those who wish to enter the premises.
Many of these systems enable the doors to be unlocked automatically without using a key. One example is the FST21 system, which uses high-tech scanners that recognize a person’s voice and face, constitution and stride, and can unlock the door in less than two seconds. Additionally, it can deny access to any person who does not appear in the database.
The device, which can be seen in the photograph, has a simple exterior appearance that houses a highly complex system.
