The Vice President of the TSE, Wilfredo Ovando, explained that the first phase of the update will include 7 of the 32 countries where voting will be allowed next year: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the United States, Spain, Italy and Great Britain.

The plan is to transfer the biometric equipment to the embassies and consulates in these seven countries, where residents will be able to register with their identity card or passport.
