Biocryptology, a biometric system that is impossible to breach

Biocryptology, a biometric authentication service that aims to render identity theft «practically impossible», was presented on the 24th of October at the Science Museum of London.

For the system to work, the user must carry a digital fingerprint scanner that generates a random number based on their biometric data.

The system uses a patented «life detection system» when taking a digital fingerprint, reading different parameters such as blood flow, skin and finger temperature to ensure the subject is alive.

When users need to identify themselves, they connect the scanner to the device that is requesting the information via USB in order to proceed.
